My Getaway - Finale

The very last but not the least thing I'm going to share about my Penang trip = FOOD!! *LoL*

In Short,

1. Thumbs Up.
2. I didn't get enough.
3. I can't get enough.
4. *Yummy*
5. Makes me wanna visit Penang 1 more time & 1 more time & 1 more time!!

When we first reached Penang, Anney & Alexy brought us to a place in Gurney to have breakiefast! Guess what??

The uncle is cutting some internal organs of Piggies~~

Have you guessed what is it? ^^ Okies, give you another clue... (Look at the pic below!)

A BoiLiNg kettle.

In fact there're kettles like this everywhere... we're surrounded by them!! You know what they're for?

*YuMmY-YuMmY*

Hurhur... Yessy~~ Bah Kut Teh for breakiefast!! Weeeeeee~~~~ Their bah kut teh is different from what we have in Singapore... Ours mostly are spicy, with pepper seeds (or whatever you call them) & garlic! Theirs are all non-spicy... emmm... I think also got garlic... Very nice larrr!! *DroooooooooooolS*

Woah! Meatballs Pottie!! =Pp

You know what? I think we can use these meatballs as ping-pong balls! They're funnily & cutiely BoUnCy!! Sooooo nice to eat!! I miss the meatballs... =x

So you can see we started our day & trip right by having such a drop-from-heaven breakiefast!! *SmileS & SmileS*

Another worth mentioning food we've tried is LoK LoK!!

*LoK LoK* I wonder in Mandarin is it call "Le Le"...

Hehs... We did have lotsa fun lok-lok-ing! Saw the metal pot in the middle? It's just a pot of PLAIN boiling water... The uncle will bring you many plates of food for you to LoK! But you don't have to finish all, just leave whatever you dun wanna eat there & uncle will collect back after that... (Eeeee... like not v clean hor? =Pp) The uncle will bring you 3 different sauces - 1 balachan, 1 lemongrass chilli & 1 satay sauce with laksa leaves! All very nice!

My ranking of the sauces:

1. Satay Sauce (Coz of the laksa leafy - Very "Pang" lehhh)

2. Lemongrass Chilli (A tinge of fragrance of the lemongrass - *Slurps*)

3. Balachan (But this is very nice also!)

*WeT PoPiAh*

Their popiah is wet wet de... Tastes pretty nice but its smell is full of "Hei-Bee"! If you like "Hei-Bee" then yummy lor... If you dun like "Hei-Bee" then dun even touch ba... =P

Dinner By A Beach!

Look at the bottom right-hand corner of the picture above! Looks yuckieee hor? This is the masterpiece of Anney & me!! Keke... It is PotPie! There... The one with a crust baked on top of a cup of soup... Nice! We had stingray, fried oysters, chickie wings & ... ...

Here's our 2nd day breakiefast! *Thumbsssssss UP*

*Dim Sum*

I love the chee cheong fan! Wrapped inside are prawns! Reminds me of a Dim Sum Place in Chinatown... The chee cheong fan wraps scallops!! My favourite!! Weeeeeeeee... Okie okie, this post shall focus only on food in PeNaNg! I'll tell you more about the Chinatown dim sum again!

Are you wondering if we did try Penang's Asam Laksa?? *Blehhhhhh* Don't want tell you, also don't want show show!! >.<
